Ravi Azad MEng (Hons) CEng MICE MIStructE
Director
Founding Director of RSA Design, graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture from the University of Manchester.
With nearly 20 years of industry experience, areas of expertise include work on a wide range of high-end residential, commercial and educational buildings across London and Essex, on both new-build and refurbishment schemes, with extensive experience in the development of Listed buildings, and subterranean development.
A Chartered member of both the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) and Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE), other positions of responsibility include holding the role of Professional Review Examiner for the ICE, acting as a Checking Engineer for Party Wall matters, acting as an Expert Witness in legal disputes, and delivering structural engineering talks to students at high schools and colleges across London.
Gemma Sheard MEng (Hons)
Senior Engineer
Graduated with a 1st Class MEng (Hons) degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of Leeds and has a vast amount of experience of working on new build and refurbishment developments, particularly basement extensions.
Mats Syversen BEng (Hons) MSc
Project Engineer
Graduated with a 1st Class BEng (Hons) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, and with an MSc in Civil Engineering Structures from City University London, also fluent in Norwegian and experienced in design using all major construction materials, for both new-build & refurbishment projects.
Paulina Polec MEng (Hons)
Engineer
Graduated with a 1st Class MEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from City University London, also fluent in Polish and well-versed with designing to current design codes of practice.
Puglas
Head of Marketing
One of two office dogs, Puglas enjoys chicken, ham, long walks, belly scratches, cuddles, meeting new people, long snoozes, 'home time' and trips to the local pubs.
Dislikes include the rain, mud, car alarms, horses, vegetables, Jess Glynne, Amazon deliveries, "lock-down" and being woken up.
Catalina Johansen Meza
BEng MSc (Hons) DIC Engineer
Graduated with a 1st Class degree in Civil Engineering from Kingston University and with an MEng in General Structural Engineering from Imperial College London, is also fluent in Norwegian and Spanish, and experienced in design to both British and European design codes.
Rowan Tilston MEng (Hons) CEng MICE
Project Engineer
Graduated with a 1st Class MEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from Swansea University, is a Chartered Member of the ICE, and has a vast amount of experience in the structural design of buildings across the UK, particularly focused on RC frame developments in and around London.
Winnie
Non-Human Resources Manager
One of two office dogs, Winnie's key responsibilities include maintaining staff fitness levels with regular exercise, keeping staff entertained, greeting visitors to the office and working closely with the Head of Marketing.
Events
Summer Social: RSA Design at Royal Ascot 2019
The RSA Design team hosted their annual day at the races with a select group of clients and colleagues, on Ladies Day at Royal Ascot.
Christmas Social: RSA Design 'In Bruges' 2019
The RSA Design team spent a weekend in Bruges for the annual end-of-year trip abroad, exploring Belgian Christmas markets and sampling the local food & drink in the run-up to the festive period.
